Terms of use
Last updated: 5 November 2026
By using Druksale, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our privacy policy.
1. Who we are
Druksale is an online marketplace in Bhutan. Independent sellers list and sell their own products; Druksale runs the website, takes payments for sellers and helps with orders and delivery.
2. Your account
- Give true details and keep them up to date. Each email address and each mobile number can belong to one account only.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- We may block an account that breaks these terms, uses the site to cheat others, or is used by someone else.
3. Buying
- Prices are in Ngultrum (Nu.) and include what the seller charges. The delivery charge is shown before you order.
- An order is confirmed when it appears in Your orders. You may cancel it yourself until it is shipped (while it is "pending" or "confirmed").
- If an item arrives damaged, wrong or not at all, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will help arrange a replacement or refund with the seller.
4. Paying
You can pay online, by mobile banking transfer, by QR code or in cash on delivery, where offered. Transfers are checked against the journal number you give. Refunds are paid back the same way where possible.
5. Selling
- Sellers must hold the licences their business needs in Bhutan and may be asked to show them.
- Describe products truthfully, with real photos, correct prices and stock, and send orders on time.
- Not allowed: illegal, counterfeit, stolen or dangerous goods; tobacco, alcohol or medicines where the law does not allow online sale; and anything that offends Bhutanese law or culture.
- Druksale keeps a commission on each sale, as agreed with the seller, and pays out the rest.
6. Reviews and content
Reviews must be honest and about the product. Do not post insults, personal information or advertising. We may remove content that breaks these rules. Sellers own their photos and descriptions and allow us to show them on the site.
7. Our responsibility
We work to keep the site running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Each seller is responsible for their products. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses.
8. Law
These terms follow the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan. If a disagreement cannot be settled by talking to us, it will be handled by the courts of Bhutan.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Contact us.
